Association for and by members

An association cannot exist without active members. MSTV Stennis consists of 14 different committees that meet every Thursday evening. These 14 committees all contribute to MSTV Stennis and form the active core of the association. By joining a committee and becoming an active member of the association, you can easily get to know people, have a great time and experience an even better student time in Maastricht!

AcCieThe AcCie of MSTV Stennis guarantees the necessary distraction outside the tennis court. Four times a year, this committee organizes an original and often well-attended activity, such as a Living Monopoly, Laser Gaming or a drinking game evening. In addition to these activities, this committee is responsible for the organization of the Active Members Outing and the infamous Stennis Cantus.

BarCieThe BarCie is the newest committee within Stennis and is tasked with managing the bar at the TC Hazendans tennis park. In addition to managing the bar, the BarCie also ensures that members can enjoy a tasty meal at the tennis club every Wednesday.

ExCieThe ExCie is involved in activities outside Maastricht and activities with other associations. These include sports and student associations in Maastricht as well as tennis associations in the rest of the Netherlands. Think of fun exchanges, a Roland Garros weekend or the Batavieren race.

FeestCieThe FeestCie takes care of all the much-needed parties of Stennis! 4 theme parties are organized per year and they also organize the New Year's drinks and the rose promotion on Valentine's Day. At the end of the year, the FeestCie organizes our big open party: STENSATION.

GAMEcupCieLast year we were able to celebrate the GameCup in our beautiful Maastricht. This was a great success! Groningen (Veracket), Amsterdam (Chip&Charge), Maastricht (that's Stennis himself of course) and Eindhoven (Fellenoord) will compete for the GAMEcup in this weekend full of activities and parties! This year it is up to Chip & Charge to organize the GameCup! Good luck!

IntegraCieThe IntegraCie is a committee that, by organizing fun activities, combines all the committees in our beautiful association. And they ensure that all members remain active throughout the year by keeping track of battle points.

InterCieDe InterCie is een internationale commissie door en voor internationals.The InterCie is all about the integration of international students in our association. To help each other get to know the Stennis- and Dutch traditions and to help the Dutchies understand the internationals in our association. Unfortunately we don't have an InterCie committee this year.

IntroCieThe IntroCie is the committee that organizes activities for new members. Shortly after the INKOM they organize the introductory period of 3 weeks, including an introduction weekend. Throughout the year, the IntroCie organizes a number of activities that are only intended for first-year students, such as a cocktail evening or a games evening.

OTCieOTC stands for Open Tournament Committee and as the name suggests, this committee organizes the Stennis Open! This is a large open tournament with approximately 300 participants. In addition to tennis, attention is also paid to a theme, activities, sponsorship and promotion of the tournament.

PadelCie Since this year we also have 4 padel courts at the TC Hazendans tennis park. The padel committee organizes internal padel tournaments to further promote this fun new sport

PR-CieThe PR Committee arranges all promotion of Stennis! Not only do they ensure that Stennis is put on the map during the introduction week in Maastricht, but they are also there for you during introductory drinks and open tosses. They also take photos at events and keep our social media and website up to date. date.

RedacCieStennis publishes a club magazine 5 times a year, called 'Crack'. The RedacCie is responsible for writing the articles, the layout and distributing the club magazine.

SponsCie This committee ensures that Stennis can continue to exist! The money from the sponsors is very important to allow the association to make its payments and to ensure that the members have a great time. As a SponsCie you can win over sponsors with attractive agreements and represent Stennis at events to raise money.

WedCieThe WedCie is the committee responsible for all tennis matters held at the tennis park on behalf of MSTV Stennis. This committee organizes the (S)tennis evenings that take place every Wednesday, just like the internal winter competition. The WedCie also takes care of the training and the spring and autumn competitions, for which they also make the classifications. The night tournament and of course the club championships are also among the tasks of the WedCie.

WeekendCie

This committee will be responsible for organizing the Meesleepweekend and Members' Weekend. They will ensure that we have a great weekend with all active members of Stennis!

WispoCieEvery year we go to the slopes and apres-ski in the Alps with a nice group of tennis players. The winter sports committee organizes this memorable trip, with an introductory dinner in advance, super nice sweaters and everything else that goes with it.

Side committeesWe have a number of side committees for all enthusiastic members who would like to do more than one committee or who have little time, but would like to do something for the association. These committees meet less regularly, but are certainly essential for our association!

Advisory CommitteeThe advisory committee assists the board with solicited and unsolicited advice. They review the minutes of the board meetings every week and provide tips, tops and help where requested.

CashCoThe cash control committee consists of former treasurers and members with an affinity with accounting. They check the balance sheet several times a year and thus assist the treasurer in keeping our finances in order.

KledingCieWe are proud of our beautiful association and are happy to show this by strolling through the city with our logo and promoting it at open tournaments. The clothing committee takes care of our beautiful merchandise.
